I totally get that pregnancy is such an expensive time. There's so much to buy and sometimes paying for your birth preparation feels like something you can put off (or end up not doing).
I know you'll think I am biased but I promise you, you cannot afford to miss out on antenatal education!
That’s exactly why we created our antenatal education classes at Bumps to Babies: to support, empower, and guide you through it all.
Meet Your Midwives
I’m Midwife Lily, founder of Bumps to Babies, and alongside Midwife Miriam in Bicester and Midwife Alice in Solihull, we’ve supported thousands of women throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond. With over 30 years of combined experience between us, we don’t just talk about birth—we’ve lived it, breathed it, and been right there beside parents through every kind of journey. We really know our stuff.
Why Antenatal Education Matters (More Than You Might Think)
Antenatal education isn’t just “nice to have”—it’s essential. It’s your chance to understand your body, your choices, and what to expect, not just during birth but in those important early days and weeks of parenting. From the stages of labour to newborn care, feeding options, emotional wellbeing, and partner support, our classes prepare you for it all.
You cannot afford to skip this. We say it with love and experience: being informed is powerful. It can completely transform how you feel about your birth and your postpartum experience.
Real Talk, Real Support
This isn’t about scary slideshows or outdated (& strict!!) advice. Our sessions are evidence-based, practical, and filled with honest, real-life info. We make space for all your questions—big or small—and we’re here to guide you, not lecture you.
Whether you're thinking about a home birth, preparing for a planned caesarean, or just wondering what a “mucus plug” is (yes, we go there!)—we’ve got you.
Community You Didn’t Know You Needed
Our classes aren’t just about learning—they’re about connection. You’ll meet other parents-to-be in your area who are going through the same ups and downs as you. Many of our groups stay in touch long after their babies are born. Because let’s be honest: parenthood is better with a village.
Final Thoughts: Book the Class. You Won’t Regret It.
There’s so much you can’t control during pregnancy and birth—but one thing you can do is prepare. Give yourself the knowledge, support, and confidence you deserve.
We’d love to welcome you to a class in your area—whether it’s with me (Midwife Lily), Miriam in Bicester, or Alice in Solihull. We’re here to walk this path with you.
You and your baby are worth it.
